FACEBOOK USERS!!!!!!

So guess what guys, it has been said that "Flowtown, a social media marketing platform, has compiled and released the latest demographic statistics about Facebook users and confirms that the average Facebook user is 38 too. That's right, Generation Y! It is Generation X who is using these sites the most!"(Sain, 2010) Isn't that funny, how society points fingers at the youth, with accusations that they are majority internet users. Well recent studies prove them wrong. THE SIGNAL, which is a university newspaper has suggested that Facebook users are older than what we have expected, and therefore proving that the suggested statistics that "Those born between the mid-1980s and early 2000s have been lovingly labeled as the Internet Generation and the Millennials."(Sain, 2010) is not so true. I wanted to post this up, as i found it really interesting how our generation is associated with technology. Do any of your parents ever call for your help, whilst they are working on the computer and say "you do it, you know more about computers than me?" I'm sure your answer is yes! But read this article, and you'll be shocked at some of the statistics mentioning the ages of social networking users. Social networking has become huge, especially in developed countries, and it affects identity, work, ethics, friends and so on. HAVE A READ GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
